Boasting the Western Hemisphere’s largest free trade zone, Panama is an attractive destination for the country to tap into with its abundant markets according to the Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce.
Thousands of suppliers from North, Central, South America and Asia utilize this free trade zone and the Panama Canal to ship goods to all corners of the globe.
The Chamber will be sending a mission to a trade show next month where local business leaders will meet wholesalers, suppliers and merchants, on Tuesday 7 March thru Saturday, 11 March.
A visit to the Colon Free Trade Zone, the largest of its kind in the Western Hemisphere and special meetings with Panamanian Government and Chamber of Commerce officials have been planned.
A business orientation session will also help educate local delegates about conducting business in Panama.
The Chamber of Commerce Panama Trade Mission will enable businesses to seek new sources for goods, materials and supplies and the mission is open to all interested persons and businesses.
