Digicel supports 20th annual Flowers Sea Swim

Digicel has signed on as a Gold Sponsor of the 20th annual Flowers Sea Swim. This marks the eighth consecutive year that the telecoms company is supporting the event.

Digicel has donated $8,000 and prizes worth more than $3,000 in support of this year’s sea swim.

“We value the long-standing relationship we’ve developed with the Flowers family and admire their commitment, dedication and passion for this event, which is in its 20th consecutive year. What’s even more appealing about this sponsorship is the charitable commitment tied to the event. All registration fees go towards the Feed Our Future Organization, helping feed children in Cayman with nutritious meals, a very worthy charity,” said Sharez Laws, Marketing Communications Manager for Digicel Cayman.

The 20th Annual Flowers Sea Swim off from 1:00 p.m. on 9 June at the Ritz-Carlton beach and finishes at The Royal Palms. Interested parties must preregister online or at the Flowers offices to be a part of the world’s richest open water event. Participants are limited to 800 and registration closes on 6 June.
