Alphasoft continues to boost school’s technology
For the fifth year, Alphasoft has donated to Triple C School computer software to Triple C School, in keeping with its on-going support of the school’s technology programme.
Alphasoft’s first donation to the school was a batch of computers for the administrators, which was a significant need at that time. The second and third years the student computer lab received equipment upgrading. In 2011, Triple C faculty and staff received new machines.
This year, the bulk of the donation was licensing for Microsoft Windows 7 for
most of the computers in the School and Server 2008 R2 licensing to upgrade the servers. In addition, a new server machine rounded out the contribution.
Rob Crysler, IT Administrator at Triple C expressed his appreciation to Alphasoft in these words: “The ongoing support from Alphasoft has made a significant difference to Triple C, particularly in keeping up with the fast pace of obsolescence in the IT field. We are extremely grateful to Alphasoft for its commitment to Triple C School.”
Thanks to Alphasoft, every student that has attended Triple C Middle and High School has had six years of formal computer training in all aspects from word processing to website development and has applied that knowledge in multiple ways in their academic and artistic studies during their time in school. Through the gift of technology, Triple C students are more than entry level ready for work when they graduate from high school.
