Year 2 and 3 students of the West End Primary School visited elderly people at the Kirkconnell Community Care Centre, commonly known as KCCC, and at the Stake Bay House.

The students and their teachers brought cake to the residents of the rest homes and sang songs to the elderly. The visit was organized by Community Development Officer for Cayman Brac, Mrs. Annie Rose Scott.

Rest Home Supervisor Mrs. Francis Clyne welcomed the young visitors and introduced the 5-7 year old children to the elderly residents. “It’s a privilege to have the young children coming to visit the elders in our community as this fosters a bond between young and old alike”, Mrs. Clyne explains.
