New form of healing on offer

Published on Sunday, August 2, 2009 Email To Friend    Print Version

A laser.

Building on the already successful reputation of the recently opened ChiroSpa Clinic, Director Dr Robert Bouliane is proud to offer a new form of healing.

The introduction of the multi-probe therapeutic laser provides patients with a safe, effective and painless therapy that uses the body’s own natural healing systems to relieve pain, increase joint mobility, rapidly heal injuries and decrease inflammation.

“The laser fits in well with the Chiropractic Paradigm. Both laser and chiropractic support the body’s own natural healing,” Dr Bouliane said.

“The Theralase Laser success continues to amaze me, I purchased the laser after experiencing the outstanding results personally, its healing like I have never seen or felt,” he said.

After extensive research the Theralase system was chosen because it is the most effective, deepest penetrating and clinically supported therapeutic laser on the market, according to the medical practitioner.

The Theralase system is Health Canada and FDA approved and is used all over Canada, USA and Europe.

“Previously I used ultrasound and muscle stimulation to assist with my chiropractic treatments, the laser has replaced those older techniques with significantly faster and more successful results,” Dr Bouliane said.

Some of Cayman Islands’ nation teams have had firsthand success with the Theralase in preparation for tournaments and meets.

The laser safely and effectively treats a wide range of acute and chronic ailments by stimulating tissue repair at the cellular level while decreasing pain and swelling. Some common conditions treated with the laser are: arthritis, sports injuries, disc problems, low back and neck pain, tendonitis, sciatica, knee and shoulder pain, and headaches however the list of treatable conditions are seemingly endless.

“Everyone’s heals at a different rate because of our lifestyle choices and age,” Dr Bouliane said. “However, a typical course of treatments is 5-10 treatments for acute problems such as sprains and strains, and 15-20 treatments for long term chronic problems, such as arthritis, disc herniation and fibromyalgia.”

Along with chiropractic care, laser therapy has a very high success rate with efficacy rates in excess of 90 percent.

Using proven acupuncture points located on the outer surface of the ear, hands and feet, the Theralase laser can also be used to help with weight loss and smoking cessation.
